Presentation   2018   November

November

At Foliotek, we work hard to provide the best assessment and portfolio software possible.  To do that, we make changes every week.  Sometimes we fix things that don't work, other times we release new features to improve your experience.  Below you will find a description of the changes we have made this month.

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

  • We made some improvements to the way Foliotek Presentation handles files.  If you have a lot of files in your account, you should see the Files area load faster.

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • We fixed an issue with changing an ePortfolio's template in the Design tab of the portfolio editor.  This error only occurred when using Firefox.
  • If a user attempted to make changes in the Design tab in the portfolio editor in Firefox, the screen would go white.
  • For individual Foliotek Presentation users, canceling a subscription would not show the end of access date.
  • When viewing a scoring guide, the 'view description' box for a Standard was too narrow and it was difficult to read the description.

What we're working on

Watch for these items to be released in the next few weeks:

  • Still working on the ability to better handle large image files uploaded by users.

  • Sorry...nothing new this week.

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • Users who created a Presentation portfolio as a copy of an Assessment portfolio were not able to edit the new Presentation portfolio.
  • Previews of the images selected for a slideshow, grid, or splat gizmo in a Presentation portfolio were not being shown.
  • Individual Presentation users were not able to change their username.
  • It was not possible to remove really long ID page tags.
  • The 'link' option in the portfolio editor was not working.
  • Users were unable to upload .jpeg image files.
  • We made some updates to the registration system for users who attempted to create accounts but had their credit card declined.
