At Foliotek, we work hard to provide the best assessment and portfolio software possible.  To do that, we make changes every week.  Sometimes we fix things that don't work, other times we release new features to improve your experience.  Below you will find a description of the changes we have made this month.

 

The new dashboard, that became available in December 2016, is now the default dashboard for new users.  If you are currently using the Legacy dashboard, you will not see any change in your account.

Dashboard

The option to use the new dashboard or the Legacy dashboard is still available using the dashboard preference dropdown in the Account Settings area.  If you have any questions about the new dashboard, call our support team at 888.365.4639, option 2.

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

  • Sorry, nothing new this week.

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • Community moderators were unable to create new project templates using existing templates.
  • File Reflection questions were not notifying the user if there was not enough storage space for the new files.
  • The Standards Assessment report was not showing related standards for lists that did not utilize tiered standards.
  • The reset password link was not working for some users.
  • Publishing previously unpublished reflection question responses was not working properly.
  • A few users were being asked to renew their licenses when they had not yet expired.

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

  • Nothing new to tell you about this week.

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • Students that had multiple portfolios that each collected Profile information upon registration were not able to get past the first set of Profile questions and enter their accounts.
  • Some users coming to foliotek through an SSO link in another application were not able to access their Foliotek accounts.
  • Students wishing to upgrade their accounts using a coupon code from their organization were unable to do so.

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • We added more characters to the invalid character list for naming edTPA files.  That list now includes:  !?@#&<>%+:|~`;/$^*-(){}\
  • New Basic, Pro, and Pro+ accounts were failing if a project was added to the ID page.  This only affected accounts created July 5th or after.
  • The Video Annotation Tool was not properly encoding the videos.
  • When viewing an ID page on a mobile device, Projects and Badges were misaligned and causing visual issues.

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

  • The new login page and updates to the registration process are finished.  The next time you login you'll notice the new look.

Brand New Login Screen

  • The Project Questions Report, available to community moderators, now includes information students entered for short answer and file questions in the Project Instructions area.
  • It is now possible to copy project and portfolio templates from an existing course section into a new section for that course.  Also, moderators can now copy project and portfolio templates from one community into another.

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • Some users were having difficulty linking their existing Foliotek accounts to their Blackboard accounts.
  • Radio buttons and checkboxes on forms were missing.
