At Foliotek, we work hard to provide the best assessment and portfolio software possible. To do that, we make changes every week. Sometimes we fix things that don't work, other times we release new features to improve your experience. Below you will find a description of the changes we have made this month.
5.29.2018
What's new
We released some new features and upgrades this week:
- We updated our account creation process to ensure GDPR compliance.
- We also updated our privacy policy.
- It is now possible to link Canvas assignments to Foliotek activities.
- Foliotek now allows activities to be submitted multiple times.
What we fixed
These issues were fixed this past week:
- Some administrators were experiencing errors when running Evaluation and Scoring Guide reports.
- Community moderators were not able to see standards aligned to project templates when previewing the template.
- Some anonymous IDs were not accurate when an administrator was searching for anonymous users in an evaluation.

What's new
We released some new features and upgrades this week:
- We made some improvements to our payment system to make it even more secure than it was.
- We upgraded our chat system.
What we fixed
These issues were fixed this past week:
- We added a confirmation message when a moderator unsubmits a student's submitted project.
- Users who purchased an individual Presentation account were getting an error when taken into their new account.
- If a student made edits to a project after it was submitted to a community and before the moderator began evaluating it, the moderator would see the edited project, rather than the project as it looked when it was submitted.
- Some faculty members were experiencing long load times when trying to view a list of students in a course evaluation.

What's new
We released some new features and upgrades this week:
- We made some improvments to our email system. You shouldn't notice any difference, just know that it is working better and more efficiently now.
What we fixed
These issues were fixed this past week:
- Some users were experiencing difficulty export an Assessment portfolio.
- If a user attempted to add a page to a Project that contained a link added as a file from their repository, it would cause the project to break. The user would not be able to view or edit the project.
- When a user created a project and saved it without changing the name, the name displayed some code.
- On the Presentation dashboard, the Tags wheel was automatically selecting a tag to display and causing confusion for some users. The Tags wheel will no longer auto-select a tag.
- A change we made to editing a Project title a few weeks ago made it difficult to make future changes to the title.
- Some activities on the Program Content page were not displaying the green checkmark after they were opened.

What's new
We released some new features and upgrades this week:
- Nothing new this week.
What we fixed
These issues were fixed this past week:
- There were some issues with slowness when working with files. Changes were made to better optimize our file handling system.
- If a user uploaded an image into the Files area of the portfolio editor, the image would take longer to load when placed in the portfolio due to a resizing issue.
- Comments added to an evaluation by a faculty member were not auto-saving if the user closed the tab or clicked the 'Evaluation List' button rather than the next or summary buttons.
- Some users were unable to export their Assessment portfolio.
- If a community moderator attempted to create two new communities one after the other, the second community was not being correctly created.
- It was possible to get the file name to detach from the cursor when reordering files in an Assessment portfolio element.
