At Foliotek, we work hard to provide the best assessment and portfolio software possible.  To do that, we make changes every week.  Sometimes we fix things that don't work, other times we release new features to improve your experience.  Below you will find a description of the changes we have made this month.

 

4.27.2020

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

  • Nothing new this week.

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • An adjustment was made to the Student Activity Report and the Form Report.  Now, when these reports are filtered or grouped by course, the courses will be listed in alphabetical order.
  • The Form Report was not properly formatting reports that were downloaded to PDF or Word.  The data in the reports was correct, however, there were some issues with breaks between charts and text, truncated questions not being shown completely, and charts not being displayed.

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

  • Nothing new this week.

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • New faculty/moderator accounts that were not tied to a course or community did not have access to the Moderate Community button.  All faculty/moderator accounts should have access to the Moderate button in their Foliotek Presentation account.
  • The public URLs for ePortfolios, which would have a foliotek.me domain, were not displaying the portfolio background and some other formatting when viewed in certain browsers.  This issue was most prominent when using Safari on a Mac to view a public portfolio.

  • Some moderators may have found that the Portfolio Template tab for some communities was causing an error.
  • Two issues were fixed that dealt with student-submitted course evaluations.

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • Some course evaluations submitted by students through an LTI integration were being unsubmitted the next time the student entered Foliotek from their course management system.
  • Improvements were made to the way Foliotek handles accounts when two different users log in to their accounts in the same browser on the same computer at the same time.

4.6.2020

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

  • Nothing new this week.

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • Due to a firewall issue, some instructors may have had difficulty viewing certain evaluations.
  • Some students were having difficulty registering for new accounts if the organization required a specific email domain.
  • Communities with less than 1,000 users were inadvertently being shown the large community warning.  The warning will no longer be shown to small communities.
  • Uploading a resume to the ID page using Safari on a Mac was very difficult.  That process has been corrected.
  • Users who were part of a community with a visiblity setting of 'private' were not being shown the correct tabs.
  • Administrators who attempted to share a portfolio template with standards for scoring would see a never-ending 'sharing' message, even though the template had been shared in the new community.
