What are performance levels?
As you build your scoring guides, you will be selecting performance levels for unit scoring. These are the different scoring options for evaluators to select when assessing student work. For example, you may wish to use Pass or Needs Revision as your performance levels. This will provide the evaluator with those two choices when scoring the unit. If you decide to add expectation scoring to your unit, then you will be determining performance levels for them as well.
