What does it mean to publish an evaluation and how is it done?

Publishing an evaluation makes the results of that evaluation visible to the students from within their accounts.  This happens automatically if the evaluation is set to allow faculty to submit and publish.  Otherwise, the administrator can publish evaluation results when desired.

 

Follow these steps to publish an evaluation scored by a single evaluator:

  1. Click Evaluations within the Assessment menu
  2. Search for the Evaluation using the search bar
  3. Click on the name of the evaluation you want to work within
  4. Click on the name of the student
  5. If the the circle under the word Published is red, then click on the empty circle next to it to publish.
  6. Do this for any other evaluations for the student that you wish to publish.

 

Follow these steps to publish an evaluation completed by multiple evaluators:

  1. Click Evaluations within the Assessment menu
  2. Click the name of the evaluation you want to work within
  3. Drag your mouse over the Actions link next to the student's name
  4. Click Publish
  5. Click the radio button next to Publish a combination of evaluation records
  6. Click the radio button next to the score you wish to publish for that unit
  7. Click the Check box next to the comments you wish to publish for that unit
  8. Click Next and repeat steps 6-7
  9. Click Finish
