How do course assignments relate to student portfolios?
When assignments are added to a course, they are displayed by course name within the student's Courses area. From here, the student can add the assignment to his/her portfolio. The assignment can be set up to allow the student to determine where it will be placed within the portfolio; or the instructor may choose this for the student. If the instructor makes this choice, the assignment will be displayed as a portfolio element in the chosen section. Once the assignment is added by the student, he/she may begin to add files and align the element with standards.
